Taking A Breather
With the year coming to a close, it's time to take a breather.
Since starting this blog back in May I've made one post a week without fail. That's 33 posts for a grand total of ~35000 words. Not bad for ~77 hours worth of investment.
Sure, some of those posts were obvious filler, but I'm trying to celebrate my victories more, and this is a victory, so celebrate I shall.
With that brief, painful celebration out of the way, I hereby announce a temporary hiatus.
Normal blog service will resume on Friday, January 14.
As for what the new year will bring, who knows. Hopefully less pandemic, that would be nice. Maybe more people choosing reason and logic over fear and stupidity. Definitely a bunch of cool video games, that's for sure.
Like this one.
Before I finish up for the year, I have two things to say.
One: I regret not writing a Christmas themed post. I had a good one all picked out as well, about a Christmas one-shot for D&D that my wife and I ran a few years back. To whet your whistle, it involved finding a new host for a hat containing the spirit of a suspiciously familiar cloud giant by the name of Sinter Klaus.
Two: If you're reading this, or if you've read anything I've written this year, thank you. I hope you found some value in my rantings and ravings and that it has enriched your life in some fashion. I enjoy writing as an act unto itself, but it's definitely better when someone reads it.
And that's it.
For now.
